Used to help an organization fulfill all tasks needed to achieve its objectives, a management system is the framework of processes and procedures. It helps meet the needs and expectations of customers by prescribing systematic control of activities. The system is designed and intended to apply to virtually any process for Environment, Product Service, or Health and Safety anywhere in the world.

The audit process of FCI ensures the compliance of the applicant organization with the requirements of the relevant system standards. This is achieved through the review of the manuals and procedures and on-site audits of the applicant organization. This process is completed in two stages and in accordance with the requirements of ISO 17021.

A Certificate of Compliance is issued on completion of a successful audit. Additionally, a register of Certified Companies is maintained which can be accessed on the FCI website. Typically conducted once a year, surveillance audits are performed by FCI to keep the system effective on a continual basis.

Experienced approved auditors are used by FCI in relevant industry sectors. This allows the audit process to produce meaningful results and improvements to the business process.  FCI has a track record for excellent customer satisfaction for its Certification service.

Integrated management aims to create a single management system which integrates multiple management system standards such as ISO 14001 and ISO 9001.
